After Ike

He worries less. His shoulders no longer slump with the strain of carrying everyone’s well being on his back. He is less irritable. He talks more. He laughs more. He comes up with solutions to our problems almost without any effort. He is a changed man.

I don’t know if it will last, but it has lasted a month now and I’m grateful. It has made my life more pleasant and in turn it has made the Buddy less fussy and Bubba more cheerful. I’m now trying to turn everything over to God in hopes that I too can find this happiness.

I’m not trying to be preachy. I’m sure it sounds that way. I am just telling the truth about the change in my life. If it helps someone else, wonderful. If not, I hope it brightened your day.
