He is not the only guy offering me a friend with benefits relationship. Another guy admitted to me divorced or soon-to-be divorced women usually don’t want a commitment so they’re ripe for the picking by these sleazeball guys. Why wouldn’t they extend such an offer? They get sex with no commitment and don’t have to make any effort to pretend to care about you.
Some guys have more finesse than others and will ‘follow up’ three days after the deed so they can keep you on tap for next time. Maybe to some it’s a tempting offer, but I want something more fulfilling. I mention this to a guy and they act like I’m ready to yank their butt down the aisle…ain’t happening! Isn’t there a middle ground somewhere between a booty call and marriage? To me, a friend with benefits relationship is just an empty offer. It’s presented as something, but it’s really nothing satisfying.
