Reasons why I am thankful for my husband:
He knows how to fix cars. His might be running low on gas with bald tires but not mine. If I even hint at thinking something is wrong with my car he is right there checking it out, hot, cold, rain or shine.
He knows how to vacuum. He only does it once in awhile when he's tracked in mud, leaves, wood chips, etc. but he will bust out the Hoover and clean it up.
He can do laundry. This is nice when I've gotten a little backed up and have sheets, towels and curtains to do as well as regular wash. He will do his own clothes so that leaves me one or 2 less loads to worry about.
He can cook. He might do it in the microwave, or super high on the stove in one pan that needs to be soaked for 3 days but he can fend for himself once in awhile.
He's very knowledgeable in areas that I'm not (and vice versa) so we have a good balance.
He will leave me the last piece/portion of dessert. No matter how small, he will leave it for me.
He likes chocolate and I don't -- so if I make something non-chocolaty I know I can have some for days instead of it barely lasting 48 hours.
He usually goes to bed later than me so I can spend a half hour reading before we fall asleep.
He drives in all kinds of weather and I don't like to.
He drives at night when I can't see.
He loves to eat and I love to cook.
He can make me laugh even at times when I'd rather be knocking some common sense into his head.
Here's to you honey, I am so thankful you are mine :-)
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
