What on earth happened?
You married a Crazy-Making Husband. Not that you intended to marry a Crazy-Maker. Or that he intended to be one. Yet the fact remains: Crazy-Making is the maddening web in which he's caught you. Why would any man take a perfectly devoted wife, and twist her into a screeching lunatic? What motivates him? In a word: resentment.
The fact that you expect your husband to provide you with what every wife deserves is 'too much' for The Crazy-Making Husband to bear. Hence, his Crazy-Making behavior.
Because he regards the requirements of a healthy marital relationship as unfair *demands* upon him, The Crazy-Making Husband attempts to erode from you all you hold important and dear. In the process, your sanity gets eroded too -- for you are told your legitimate needs, wishes, and dreams are not legitimate at all.
