It’s been a week since the Halloween debacle with J-Fed and I think I’m no longer suffering from any post-traumatic stress syndrome as a result of the drama.
I feel as if I’ve got my head back on straight. Halloween was downright nasty. Windy. Rainy. And chock full of venom. To this day, I’m certain that J-Fed instigated a fight with me so that I would not be around to take the kids trick-or-treating when he was there. I’m pretty sure it was because he wanted to do the rounds with T.O.W.(the other woman) In fact, I’d actually bet my left AND my right kidney on it. Why am I so sure? Because I know J-Fed and that’s most definitely his M.O.
I would say that he won that round. But well, I didn’t have to be around him so we really know who won. Later that evening, he and my mother Kuku had a nasty exchange. Apparently, she started needling him about T.O.W. when she met up with the two of them at the block party. I was tucked peacefully in my bed, far away from the nonsense.
To make a long, insignificant story short, they had words and it ended up with a bunch of people being pissed off – Kuku, J-Fed and likely T.O.W. I, meanwhile, was completely immune to the entire ordeal and that made me happy as a pig in sh*t.
My absence did not go unnoticed. I believe J-Fed was a little pissy that I didn’t witness the whole thing. Why do I say this, you ask. Well, of course, he called me the next day to give me a blow-by-blow – his version, of course. After beating me down about how meddlesome my mother is, he then proceeded to make a lofty statement.
“I don’t know who’s more jealous – you or your mom,” he said boldly.
Stop the presses. J-Fed, did you really just say that? Did you really just accuse me of being jealous? Forget what you said about my mother. You’re always trying to find something she’s done wrong. And while she’s no saint by any stretch of the imagination, she is the one who helps take care of the children, YOUR CHILDREN. So if she’s meddling and she’s ever present, it’s because someone else is not. Can you guess who that someone is?
