Top 10 Worst Things About Me

Justice & Truth Reigns

I will admit that I have said awful, terrible things to my ex husband, both during our marriage and well after. I’ve said things I am honestly ashamed of. But let’s forget about that! Here’s another top 10 list -- The Top 10 Worst Things about JusticeandTruth According to Her Ex:

10. I’m frigid

9. I like to argue too much.

8. I am no fun.

7. I am too strict with our son.

6. I don’t have enough friends.

5. I am not spontaneous enough.

4. I read too much.

3. I am a horrible nag.

2. I am an overall miserable person.

1. I am no fun to be around.

I could spend my time arguing each and every one of these points. To be honest, I know some of these complaints have merit. But rather than argue each individual point, I think it’s more helpful to talk about the fact that some partnerships just bring out the worst in people. When I was with my ex, I probably was a no-fun, miserable, mean nag. To be quite honest, I was pretty crazy and unhappy when I was with him. Amazingly, after we separated, it was like a dark cloud lifted from my soul. People commented on how wonderful I looked and sounded. I felt wonderful…and I still do.

Even though the ex likes to carry on about how it was all my fault that I “selfishly” filed for divorce, deep down, I think he realizes we’re both much better off. He may enjoy cursing me and calling me names from time to time, but in the end, it doesn’t matter. The divorce gave me some much-deserved peace and happiness in my life. And for that, I am honestly grateful.
